Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Nextademy ("we", "us") operates nextademy.com, an AI education membership platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, password (hashed), country, time zone, learning goals, and skill level. Payment data: handled by Stripe — we never store full card numbers. Usage data: lessons completed, quiz results, assignment submissions, notes, and progress, used to deliver the product. Marketing data: quiz answers and email address if you use our quiz funnel or contact forms.

3. How we use data

To provide membership services, process payments, track learning progress across devices, issue certifications, respond to inquiries, and — only with your consent — send product tips and updates. We do not sell personal data.

4. Third-party processors

We use Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), Mux (video streaming), and Sentry (error monitoring). With your cookie consent we may also use Google Analytics, PostHog, Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok for analytics and advertising measurement. Each processor receives only the data needed for its function.

5. Data retention

Account and progress data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@nextademy.com or using your account settings. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

6a. Canada (PIPEDA)

We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. You may access or correct your personal information and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Commercial emails follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL): we send marketing email only with your express consent, and every message includes a working unsubscribe. Complaints may be directed to us first, and then to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

6b. United States state privacy rights

If you live in California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Texas), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct inaccuracies, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor verified requests within the timelines your state law requires and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Submit requests to support@nextademy.com with the subject "Privacy request".

6c. Quebec (Law 25)

If you live in Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) applies. Technologies that identify, locate, or profile you — including analytics and advertising cookies — are turned off by default and activated only with your express consent through our cookie banner. You may withdraw consent at any time on our cookie policy page, request a copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used format, and ask about any decision made exclusively by automated processing. 7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication, session management, and fraud prevention. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, PostHog, Meta, Google Ads, TikTok) load only after you click Accept on our cookie banner and can be turned off at any time on the cookie policy page. When you subscribe, we may send a hashed email address to an advertising provider so the sale is attributed to the ad you saw; we do not share lesson activity or payment details.

7a. Marketing attribution

When you first visit from an ad or a link, we record the campaign source (for example utm_source, gclid, or fbclid), the page you landed on, and the referring site in a first-party cookie. If you create an account, this is saved with your profile so we can understand which channels bring members and measure our advertising honestly. It is never sold.

8. Course work and notes

Course assignments and private notes remain private unless you intentionally share them, for example in the community.
